Accessibility Statement
How Paragraph approaches digital accessibility on us.paragraph.wine.
1. Our Commitment
LBMGB LLC (dba A Route West / Avenor), the U.S. merchant of record for the Paragraph brand, is committed to providing a digital experience that is usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We work to ensure that us.paragraph.wine (the "Site") is accessible to and usable by everyone, regardless of ability or assistive technology.
2. Conformance Standard
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. WCAG 2.1 AA defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities — including visual, auditory, motor, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Current conformance level: partial. We do not yet claim full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across the entire Site. Some areas — for example, third-party embeds, certain product imagery, and recently added content — may not yet meet every Level AA criterion. We are actively working to address known gaps and to evaluate new content against the standard before publishing.
3. Measures We Take
To support accessibility, we:
- Design with accessibility in mind from the outset, not as an afterthought.
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate.
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content (images, icons, video posters) where the content conveys information.
- Maintain visible focus indicators and keyboard-navigable controls throughout the shopping experience, including the product page, cart, and checkout.
- Test color contrast against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and meaningful UI components).
- Run automated accessibility scans (axe-core or equivalent) before launch and on significant template changes.
- Train designers and developers on accessibility best practices.
- Review accessibility feedback from customers and incorporate it into our remediation backlog.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Examples we are aware of and working to address:
- Some video and motion content may not yet have captions or reduced-motion alternatives.
- Some third-party embeds (analytics, payment processors, marketing tools) may render content we do not directly control.
- Some legacy product imagery may not yet have descriptive alt text optimized for assistive technologies.
If you encounter a barrier on the Site that prevents you from accessing content or completing a purchase, please contact us using the information in Section 6. We will make a reasonable effort to provide the information or service through an alternative channel.
5. Compatibility
The Site is designed to be compatible with the latest two major versions of the following browsers and assistive technologies, on both desktop and mobile devices:

- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS, iOS), TalkBack (Android).
